Hello and welcome!

My name is Eko, and I’m a cook and baker based in Helsinki, Finland. I’m genderfluid and use they/them pronouns. I work as a coder from home, which allows me to cook quite a lot!

I was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy in August 2020 and have been trying to find exciting food that fits my medical diet ever since. I hope I can share some of it with you!

Current medical diet (08.2020 – present): low salt (max 1,500mg/day), low phosphorus (max 800-1000mg/day), low potassium (max 2000-2400mg/day), low cholesterol. Mostly plant based, but still use egg whites, honey & a few other animal products occasionally.
